How to choose a mattress online
How the mattress is made
We offer three main types of mattress:

Open Spring Mattress – Basic support is achieved by a tier
of hourglass-shaped springs held together in rows by helical wires.
This type of springing is also used in sprung divan bases.

Memory foam
mattress – A pressure relieving mattress which conforms to
the exact contours of the body allowing rest in a natural and tension
free position. It is hypoallergenic and never needs turning.

Pocket
Spring Mattress – Offering higher levels of support resulting
in a better sleeping posture. Each spring is individual, responding
wherever body weight is applied.
How firm should it be?
We have added a brief description of how firm the mattresses are
on each product detail page.
Your mattress should support you and keep your spine
in the correct alignment. Effectively this means your body is level
and prallel to the bed base.

It is essential that you select a mattress that suits the individual
sleeper's needs. An incorrect mattress can make it difficult to

on a person's height, weight, build and age.
Making the wrong choice can lead to disturbed sleep, discomfort
aches and pains.
